So a few weeks ago before the latest firmware update, I had an issue setting up my personal email account info on my TS-873A. I was able to set up email accounts in Notification Center that connected securely to my mail servers but not the personal accounts. I could only connect using insecure methods.
So I opened a support ticket and QNAP wanted to access my NAS. So I set up a support tunnel with them.
During this time, the latest firmware came out and after updating firmware, I was able to use secure connections on my personal email. OK great. No problem. I ended dup having the ticket closed.
But not I was not getting any email notifications for the last couple weeks. This morning, I went into my notification center and found that the port number had been changed on my main email account and some odd email account had been created as like a test - something like myemail@yourdomain.com or something like that.
QNAP support went in and messed with my notification center settings but those were never the issue. And then they didn’t reset things to normal.
So not happy with this.
