[File station] the share link database is locked due a failed db check. The database will be re initialised and the original database will stored in a temporary access for 30 days.
What is the best way out of this one. I am tempted to start over again. What happened here?
They keep the share links for your NAS in a database. That database somehow got corrupted. So basically they are rebuilding the database and the original one is just kept as a backup for 30 days. Unless you have critical share links, personally I wouldn’t worry about it.
If they are critical, I would open a ticket with QNAP support. I had a similar problem that was a “system dataset error.” They went in and made some tweaks on the machine and all is better.
We’ll be checking internally to determine the cause of this issue.
Of course, if you’re concerned about this error message, you’re very welcome to open a ticket with us via Helpdesk or the community! Our team will help you with a more in-depth check. Thanks!
