Issue with Upgrading Hard Drive on an Old TS-209?

Hi ,

I recently bought a new hard drive to upgrade the storage on my TS-209. However, I just realized that I’ve lost the original installation CD and can’t access the Install Wizard.

Does anyone know where I can download it?

I tried resetting and reinstalling the firmware, but neither worked. In the end, I gave up. The TS-209 couldn’t read either the 4TB Seagate or the 10TB Toshiba drive. However, when I reinstalled the original 1TB hard drive, it worked fine. It seems like it might be a compatibility issue with the hard drives!

Yes, the TS-209 can only deal with up to 2TB drive size, so 4 and 10 are too large
