Just wondering if anyone has tried this combination. The KC3000 are not on the compatibility list unlike the KC2000s. I have asked Qnap to test but I do doubt it will happen.

it probably would work, but why you would want to put PCI v4 hardware into a PCI v3 card?

It is to go in a TS251D. So would be worse still as pcie gen 2x4.
Availability is the issue. Only a few 1 and 2 TB m2 nvme are listed as compatible and they are long obsolete or unobtanium.
These Kingston ones seem to be going cheap at the moment here in Oz.
