Same here, didn’t find much on the log file itself.
My NAS is a TS-464 (8GB).
On an older (but more powerful NAS) TVS-672XT (8GB) works with 4.2.18 too

Same problem here, Kodi 19 and 20 not working.
Reinstalling HDStation and/or Kodi did not work.
Opened a ticket at QNAP, they don’t feel responsible if other software crashes.
Do you know how to downgrade HDStation?

I had the same issue with Kodi 20.5.1.0. Kodi could not find any audio device. After downgrading to 20.5.0.0 audio works fine again. Kodi finds all audio devices.

forgot to update: qoolbox fixed the crash in a new Kodi 20.5.1.0 and fixed the backup plugin in 20.5.2.0
