On the forums, we complain a lot about things that QNAP has gotten wrong, that are broken, etc.
One of the things that has driven me crazy on my TS-873A was how slow the web interface was. If I had any load on the NAS, I would wait and wait and wait for windows to open. I held off upgrading to QuTS Hero 6 because I was afraid it would be even slower.
Well. that is not the case. QuTS Hero 6.1 is remarkably zippier and faster than any of the previous QuTS Hero 5.x versions. I am running a CPU load of 18 right now on the NAS due to some backups running yet the web interface is responsive. Previously trying to do anything with a load of 18 would grind things to a halt.
So kudos to QNAP for drastically improving the speed of the interface and the loading of apps! Great job!
