Addendum: Internet radio works perfectly, without interruptions.
OK. Thanks for updating me. Yes, DNS is generally directed by the router. Given how QNAP uses different networks for containers and all, I thought maybe something got messed up and you weren’t getting DNS traffic. But you are so all good.
OK, so the local music stops after a bit. Does it drop out or just stop?
Playback stops, then the message “Switch library” appears. If you confirm, the message “Empty” appears.
Could the error be due to any settings in the Squeezebox Radio?
No idea. It seems like maybe you need to ask in Squeezebox or Lyrion forums. I haven’t used Squeezebox in years (didn’t know it still existed). Only used the soft version maybe 20 years ago. Almost bought one but went the Roku SoundBridge music player route instead…Now I have Sonos…
I contacted the Lyrion forum.
The server is now running, and I can access the multimedia library. The problem is that the connection keeps dropping after a short time. Then I have to reconnect, but it drops again after a short while. I haven’t found a solution for this in the LyrionMusicServer community, meaning they can’t help me any further. They suggested I contact the QNAP community, as they suspect it’s somehow related to the QNAP NAS’s container management.
I found this in regards to playback dropping
