Macbook does not load Qnap pro

Just purchased Qnap 2bay 8TB mirrored server, install direct usbc connect to macbook. Sucessessfully moved 2TB of photo files to server, no problems accessing or using the server. Problem is when I try to install Qnap Pro, the application does not recognize the server. Everything else is running fine, but would like to have a tool to manage the server, have been advised not to use disck utility software on the macbook. Any ideas how to get QnapPro to recognize the server? or can I manage the server with something else?

What model did you buy?
QNAP does not sell any pseudo NAS/DAS anymore with virtual USB connections called “USB QuickAccess”

If you connect via USB-C, then you probably have a TR-00x and those are DAS and not NAS, so QNAP QfinderPro will not work (that is for NAS)

And what is “Qnap Pro”? Qfinder Pro?
