On occasion my location of my Plex media folders change
Examples:
WAS: /share/external/DEV3303_1/PLEX Multimedia/KIDS MOVIES
NOW:/share/external/DEV3803_2/PLEX Multimedia/KIDS MOVIES

WAS:/share/external/DEV3901_2/PLEX Multimedia/KIDS MOVIES
NOW:/share/external/DEV3804_2/PLEX Multimedia/KIDS MOVIES

WAS:/share/external/DEV3703_2/PLEX Multimedia/KIDS MOVIES
NOW:/share/external/DEV3704_2/PLEX Multimedia/KIDS MOVIES

These are 8tb & 10TB Seagate external hard drives
Is there a setting in my TS-453D control panel that can make the location name/address not change?

Assign labels to each of your external drive partitions. Then access them via those labels in /share

Under Storage & Snapshots/External Storage storage Information they are labeled, but it’s not the same as what Plex sees.

Under Control Panel/ shared folders/ Edit properties it shows the path as /DEV3704_2
This is what keeps changes

Don’t use the external drive mounts in /share/external in Plex. Use the symlinked ones in /share instead.
