I have slow response via smb from nas at morning approx 9:00 am to 11:00 am.
Please suggest any solution
NAS model and firmware?
Is the NAS (re) booted in the morning?
What exactly is slow?
Did you look in the logs to see what is going on?
Maybe it just needs a cup of coffee to wake up and get going
You must have some extra processes going in the morning at that time like a backup, snapshots, indexing, etc. And what other network traffic might be going on at that time too or what else is your computer doing? Lots of possible reasons. Understand that a 1Gbps network connection does not guarantee 1 Gbps speeds. Network speed is dependent on what the disks are doing on both ends, what the processors on both ends are doing, etc.
And please describe what is responding slowly…
