So I installed the new NAS and am currently copying everything over from my previous NAS, 672XT. All going well. I only had 2 NVMEs to start the new installation because the other 2 were in the 672XT as a secondary volume for HDP. I cleared that on the 672XT and have added them to the 1688ATX. All good, now I have 4 2.5 SSD NVMEs, except I wanted to update the RAID from 1 to 6 now that I have 4 drives total.
It wouldn’t let me do this and now I’m ended up with a Triple Mirror for my Storage Pool 1 (System). Is there any good way to backup the Storage Pool 1 (System) and kill the RAID array and set the new disks as RAID 6 like I want? I have a drive I could insert into one of the 3.5 bays and use for a temp (System) pool while I destroy and create the RAID 6 with the 4 SSD NVMEs. Maybe snapshot the (System) pool somehow and do a move to a temp and then back? Any advice on steps to get me from here to there without breaking anything at this point? Latest QuTS Hero
