Netbak PC Agent Client V1.2.2 Fails to Create Windows Boot Disk

Netbak PC Agent Client V1.2.2 Fails to Create a Windows 11 Boot Disk with this error :

“An unknown error occurred. Please contact customer support if this issue persists. Error Code4.”

QNAP have confirmed this as the client agent fault and users should await a new Client version > 1.2.2.

UPDATE : The new client version (v1.2.3) has not fixed the issue where NetBak PC Agent does not always successfully create a working USB Boot Drive on Windows 11 version 24H2 computers.

QNAP Ticket Q-202501-39388 escalated from UK to Developers is ongoing.

Netbak PC (backup) Agent Client Version V1.2.3 has now shipped.

It now allows a Windows 11 Boot disk to be automatically created from within the Netbak Windows Client.

The GUI restore is also very slick!

Note : The new version requires a manual un-install of the older Windows pre-requisites, namely “Windows Assessment & Deployment Kit” & “Windows Assessment & Deployment Kit Windows Pre-Installation Environment Add ons”. It then installs the new versions.
