I’m having trouble getting NetBak on a remote PC to find my NAS, a TS-264
- I’ve installed and configured Hyper Data Protector on my NAS
- I’ve installed the NetBak PC Agent on a local Windows PC
- I’ve installed the NetBak PC Agent on a remote Windows PC, in a different city
I’ve successfully configured and backed up the local PC
I can’t get the remote PC to find my NAS using either the myQNAPcloud DDNS hostname or the WAN IP address of my NAS
I’ve configured Hyper Data Protector and Network & Virtual Switch stings to both use Adapter 2
I’ve used the myQNAPcloud app on the NAS to enable UPnP Port Forwarding on my UPNP enabled router. The ports I’ve enabled are
- 80
- 8080
- 443
- 9103
- 9106
I’ve even manually added the ports on my router to the IP address of Adapter 2
Notes: When I use an external device (remote PC or mobile phone on 5G) to browse to [myNAS].myqnapcloud.com or the WAN IP address nothing happens. If I browse to myQNAPcloud I get to the myQNAPcaloud login screen.
What, if anything, am I doing wrong?
