No "Media Streaming add-on" after reinitializing.Look for QPKG.

ah I see, thanks for the reply, I was seeing it used to be available but I must’ve had it mixed with a different version

Good day, could you also send me a link to the Media Streaming Addon, version 4.3.6.2805 of my QTS?
Thanks in advance!

@kot911 I need both of your QTS version and NAS model to provide the correct version, could you let me know which NAS you are using now?

QTS 4.3.6.2805, TS-1079 Pro

I guess I was unlucky…((

@kot911 Sorry that I prepared the file but forgot to send it to you. Please check the message.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I’ll try to get up this evening. But thanks anyway!

I’ve also just set up two new Qnaps and I need the Multimedia Streaming Addon. One is a TS410 with QTS 4.2.6 and the other is a TS221 with QTS 4.3.3.2784. Thanks a lot in advance!

Much appreciate your support! I confirm the MediaStreamingAdd-on_430.1.8.5_20190604_arm_kw.qpkg works on TS 221 and the other one works on Ts 410 Kirkwood Arm5. Could be both interchangeable, havent tried just installed MediaStreamingAdd-on_421.1.2.1_20190311_arm_kw.qpkg on Ts410 machine.

May I ask for miniDLNA and UMS dlna package for those systems as well? Or better open another thread? I found old Plex and Emby yet, just in case…

As I know the mini DLNA and UMS DLNA are not the official QPKG by QNAP so I probably can not help with that…

Hi, can someone tell me where I can download the file? After a hard drive change and a reinstallation, the Media Streaming add-on was no longer available in the app center. (MediaStreamingAdd-on_430.1.8.5_20190604_arm_kw.qpkg) Thanks

Hallo kann mir jemand sagen wo ich das File downloaden kann, nach einem Festplattenwechsel und einer neuinstallation war die Media Streaming add on im app center nicht mehr verfügbar. ( MediaStreamingAdd-on_430.1.8.5_20190604_arm_kw.qpkg ) Danke

Hi @max.nokia I should have asked about the NAS model and the QTS version first, but you already provided the specific file version… please try the Smart URL I sent you via private message.

Hello and thank you  for the info, but unfortunately now I’m getting this error. The requested URL /apps/upnp was not found on this server.

Would it help if I re-imported the saved configuration file before replacing the hard drive, or would that just make things worse? Or do I even have to do a reset? Somehow, the server can’t build or find a media library? Thanks for your help.

@MaxNokia… still haven’t gotten the hint that this subforum is NOT to be graced with the German language?

Hello,

I am also in this situation. I planned to temporarily uninstall media streaming add-on because I have some problems with my NAS rebuilding its indexes. I was not warned that after uninstalling, I will no longer be able to reinstall the application.

I searched my logs and I found the following line:
2022-10-1519:22:17 System 127.0.0.1 localhost [App Center] Installed Media Streaming Add-on 430.1.8.5 in /share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/QDMS.0cJ

I tried to locate the qpkg in the indicated folder, but it is no longer there.

My NAS is QNAP TS-869U-RP and the firmware version is 4.3.4.2814 (latest). It is not open to the internet (LAN only).

Can anyone send me the .qpkg/.zip file?

Thanks.
