Hi all. I’ve got a TVS-472XT running QTS 5.2.10.3568 with three drives in a thick data volume. I’m getting an error in Notification Center Version 1.10.0.3331 (2026/04/13) that there is “No volume available. Create a volume in Storage & Snapshots before you continue.” I am receving alerts as expected, but the Notification Queue and History area present this warning and offer no history. The volume is healthy and otherwise the NAS appears to be running fine.
Some research suggests re-establishing the database pointers or clearing app cache via SSH and checking the Public folder accessibility. Other research suggests reinstalling notification center to force recreation of these items, however as a core component there is no option in App Center to stop and uninstall the app.
Thanks. I saw that post as well, but given the time that has passed and the fact that there are no pending updates showing for the version of Notification Station that I’m running, I wasn’t sure what value it was. Can a newer version be forced? My version shows 1.10.0.3331 (2026/04/13).
I just checked, and the latest version of Notification Center on QTS 5.2 is indeed 1.10.0.3331 — the 2.x version is intended for QuTS hero 5.3. I’ll have our internal team look into this issue, and we’d also recommend opening a support ticket so we can take a look. Thanks!
Thank you. Will try and get a ticket opened in the next day or two, and will report back. Oddly, I do still receive alerts, so it does appear to be an instrumentation issue. Thanks again and let me know if your internal team has any insight.
