FIrst, please post in English in the English forum.
Here is your translated post:
Hello,
I have a new TS-h1090FU with the latest QTS Hero. Is there a possibility to use NVME over TCP, if so how.
What do you mean use NVME over TCP? The NVME slots are for SSD drives.
From https://nvmexpress.org:
So it looks like there is an NVMe mode for accessing memory across TCP, but my understanding is that QNAP NAS devices use PCIe for the transport layer. I’m not sure if there’s a way to use those over TCP. What are you trying to do over TCP?
nvme over tcp is a protocoll where you can connect nvme drives from a storage to a host like they will be mounted to the host directly.
No such functionality that I know of. You can use the storage space of another QNAP via VJBOD, but that is not depending on the storage bus technology
This feature is currently on our roadmap, but it is indeed not available yet. We plan to implement this functionality in the future.
Could you please share your usage scenario and the host environment you are trying to connect to? This will help us better understand your needs.
Thank you!
Hi, thanks for your answer. I just want to use this instead of NFS or iSCSI or SMB to have a higher Performance and lower latency of my very Expensive U.2 SSD in our Expensive h1090FU for my Backup and Simulation environment at my esx Cluster.
for hq support
looks like
nfs over rdma
samba direct (rdma)
must be appreciated in 25+ years 21senctuary
in nas manufacture features list.
would be nice to see os features update roadmap for your devices
would be nice to see any roadmap from qnap at all.

iser may partly solve slow perf expiriense for you.
NVMe-of is supported natif in linux & windows 2025 server, this is the lower latency protocol of today. usage must be with min 25Gbits network, 100Gbits preferred. Storage based on NVMe SSD is a rocket with this.. using it with Mikrotik ROSE…waiting Qnap offer full flash based on nvme and nvme tcp protocol…
Proxmox like this scenario
currently with 1090, use it in NFS for esxi or iSCSI for io intensive inside OS special app…
