Passwordless login via reverse proxy?

the requirements for passwordless login state:

  • Connection method: You must connect to the NAS using HTTPS + Domain Name. IP addresses and SmartURLs are not supported.

Will https via reverse proxy work, meaning the connection between reverse proxy and NAS is unencrypted ?

just in case other are wondering: the answer is no, it doesn’t seem like it is possible
