Based on the announcement released by QNAP in 2023 (reference link), Photo Station and related applications will enter the End of Life (EOL) phase of their product lifecycle.
This policy will be officially implemented on June 30, 2025, and the relevant installation packages will be removed from the QNAP official website and distribution channels.
If you have already installed Photo Station on your QTS / QuTS hero system, the QPKG application will remain available for use.
Even after the digital signature expires, the application will continue to function normally and will not be automatically deleted. You will still be able to access your existing photo data. However, please note that updates and technical support from QNAP will end, and future compatibility and security cannot be guaranteed.
