PhpMyAdmin missing after upgrade from TS-251+ to TS-264

Hi everyone,
I recently upgraded my NAS from a TS-251+ to a TS-264 due to a hardware failure on the old unit.
I used the same drives, inserted in the exact same order, and luckily everything started up fine — I can access all my files and everything seems to work as expected.

However, I noticed that the PhpMyAdmin app is missing, and as a result, I can no longer find or access my databases.

Could anyone please help me figure out how to restore PhpMyAdmin (or recover the existing databases) on the new NAS?

Thanks in advance for your help!

What happens when you try to install it again via qpkg?

Have you tried a container instead?

If you are afraid for your data, I hope you have a backup strategy in place.

I preferred not to proceed with a new installation to avoid making the situation worse. What exactly do you mean by container?

phpMyAdmin is only a reader/manipulator, data is not stored in it.

Container:

I’ve installed the phpMyAdmin application, but by default, the system has assigned the folder owner to the “admin” user, which I’ve actually disabled.

I’ve tried both from the file manager and the folder sharing settings to change the ownership to the correct user, but I’m receiving an error stating that this operation cannot be completed. How can I resolve this?

Despite submitting several support tickets, QNAP support has stopped responding. They used to offer better customer service, but it’s significantly worsened now.

enable the admin user or install it via container

Hi there, after migrating your NAS, you can sometimes fix configuration issues by re-updating the firmware.

You might want to try manually updating the FW to see if that resolves the issue with PhpMyAdmin.

Please let me know if this helps or if you need any further assistance. Thanks!
