For lossless audio I would recommend FLAC rather than WAV format. Whilst I play mine primarily via an audio streamer using MinimServer on the NAS if I want to play on my phone or tablet QMusic works fine but in your case a DLNA service would appear to be the sensible choice.

Have you tried the simplest and native solution:
Multimedia Console to manage your media libraries (music, videos, pictures),
Media Streaming for DLNA
Music Station to index music and provide metadata,
QMusic app on Android or iOS to play the music,
MyQnapCloud to secure remote access to folders without opening any ports.
