Hi guys, So I have a fabulously old TS 219p, have had it for over 20 years now, been through tons of hd’s, just done my lounge up and turned it off and moved for first time in ages, Plugged it back in, light comes on power adapter, push on, it flickers the lights on the Qnap and starts to turn on, then stops and light goes off on power supply unit? Does that sound like a power adapter issue? If I pull plug out of adapter and plug back in, its light turns back on

It does to me, but there are other components that may fail over time too. You can try reducing the load as a test, pull the drives and see if it will boot up without them. (try unplugging any other devices (USB, network, etc) just to rule that out too)
If you are adventurous, you could also open it up to ensure all connections are tight and nothing came loose when you moved it.
Cheers, it was, just found a old modem adapter that fitted and away it went, amazing huh, over 20 years this thing has gone for, will go get another as modem adapter isnt right power rating
Make sure the power supply has the right specs and does not go up in smoke with overcurrent.
