Problem with HD bay 1 on QNAP 231+

Hi,

one of the two bay of my QNAP 231+ seems to be fault.

In the beginning i thought was due to SSD HD fault because with disc connected on bay 1 initial power-on test fail and nas wouldn’t even start. But changing to bay 2 same SSD disc, NAS startup without problems.

There are some things that i can do to try to fix it?

QNAP Backplane for TS-431P

Hi, I am considering buying a new backplane for my TS-431P. Anyone knowing were to buy? Stocks I checked are empty. QNAP do not sell, they only offer a service to send in and repair. I am also aware that bypassing mosfets on the BP may work, but that will be second choice if even ever done at all. I already bought a new NAS btw and have it working, but consider having this “old” one fixed anyway.
