Is this normal for QmailAgent to auto logout and not able to login again to receive the emails until I enter my password again? I am referring to the QmailAgent app login password, NOT my email password.
I am using QmailAgent Lite, will I need to upgrade to the full QmailAgent to have this feature?
If you’re not sharing your device with anyone, then for short-term convenience, using your browser’s built-in password autofill feature could be an option.
Hi MichalelSee,
Can you kindly provide more details so that we can try to narrow down the problem soon.
May we know which email service you are using Microsoft outlook or Gmail or any other?
Can you confirm if you are not being asked to re-authenticate the clous mail service? As per the message shown at the start of QMailAgent after adding first service, you might be asked to re-authenticate with your email service so would like to confirm if thats not the case? You may refer to the notice below:
We will investigate this issue internally. In the meantime, we kindly request you to raise a ticket on our technical support portal so that we can properly track and follow up with our QA and technical teams.
Thank you and I would like to confirm that QMailAgent is designed to keep backing up user’s emails in background periodically based on the schedule user has set. Even if you logout of NAS or QMailAgent the process of backing emails continues in background.
The issue you reported is unusual and ideally should not happen. We have even asked our QA team and they are not able to reproduce it. So we will try to survey your debug logs from your NAS and try to evaluate the issue. We shall follow-up further on the Support Ticket.
Thank you
