This event is organized by the Zero Day Initiative (ZDI) from Trend Micro, bringing together top security researchers from around the world to investigate and uncover vulnerabilities in various connected technologies—from smart home devices to NAS and SOHO routers.
This year’s total prize pool reaches 2 million USD, including the largest single prize of 1 million USD for a zero-click attack on WhatsApp.
QNAP Highlights in the Competition
Several research teams are targeting the QNAP TS-453E NAS and QHora-322 Router in the SOHO Smash-up and Network Attached Storage categories.
This open and transparent testing process allows QNAP to verify its security design, identify potential risks early, and continuously strengthen the defensive capabilities of its products.
