Anyone have any suggestions what my default password would be after a Hardware Reset. (Qnap HS-453DX).
I undertook the reset and then realised none of the stickers on the QNAP have the cloud key on them! Help please! As there is a lot of data on there that I can’t really afford to lose! Thanks
The default password depends on the actual firmware version you have installed on the NAS.
You should be able to use QFinder to get your CloudKey, although I’ve never had to do it myself. I’d suggest creating your own “sticker” for future resets.
Then of course you have a suitable backup strategy to another device, cloud, etc…
