1) Defer (we’ve all done it)

“Sorry Bob, I’m on a priority issue. I’ll update you when I’m done.”

2) Click through the UI (the classic)

Log in → Control Panel → Shared Folders → create projVivaviva → set group permissions → Users → create lucy (think up a temp password, type it twice) → add to mkt_team → remember Bob also said administrators → backtrack and fix it → confirm Lucy’s folder rights.
It works… but it’s a lot of clicking under time pressure, and easy to miss a step.

3) Tell MCP Assistant to do it (the “one-message” route)

Open Claude Desktop, paste Bob’s message to MCP Assistant:

Create a shared folder "projVivaviva" with read-only access for mkt_team and sales_team.
Add a new user "lucy", put lucy in mkt_team and administrators.
Grant lucy read-write access to "projVivaviva".

MCP Assistant executes and returns a checklist like:

  • Created shared folder projVivaviva ✓
  • Set mkt_team, sales_team to read-only ✓
  • Created user lucy ✓
  • Added lucy to mkt_team, administrators ✓
  • Granted lucy read-write on projVivaviva ✓

9:49 AM. You reply “Done.” Bob makes the kickoff on time.

Sure, it’s all about priority, when Bob just threw you a birthday party. :laughing: One point here is to show how harsh the demand, and another is to show how convenient it could be :wink:
