QNAP Qna-UC10G1T - Limited to 5Gb full duplex

Hello,

I recently subscribed to a fiber optic internet connection. Max speed is 8Gbdown/8Gb up. There is no problem with the connection, everything is working fine.

My motherboard is an Asrock X870E Nova WiFi, it has two USB4 ports. The ethernet port is limited to 5Gb, so I bought an USB4 to RJ45 adapter to get the maximum speed I subscribed to and I installed the required driver mentionned on the QNAP website. The adapter is connection to the 10G port on my internet box.

The problem is, the adapter is limited to 5Gb no matter what I do. When I select 10Gbps in the advanced properties of the adapter, I have no connection. I have to set it to Auto or 5Gb max to get a connection.

Can someone help diagnose where the culprit is plz ? From my understanding it should pretty much be plug and play. I’m on Windows 11 Pro.

To help us further investigate the issue, could you please provide the specific model of your internet box. Thank you for your assistance!
