Taipei, Taiwan, August 12, 2025 – QNAP® Systems, Inc. announced that its popular NAS intelligent search application Qsirch will terminate the Qsirch Premium licensing program on October 1, 2025, and fully open all Qsirch Premium features to all Qsirch users, enabling every NAS user to enjoy complete NAS data search capabilities.
Premium Features Fully Open, Search Experience Upgraded
Qsirch has always been favored by users for its fast and accurate full-text file search and AI-powered intelligent filtering, helping users efficiently manage and access NAS data. With this adjustment, even users who previously used Qsirch Lite can now directly enjoy the full Premium features without purchasing additional licenses.

Qsirch 6.0 Coming Soon, Supporting On-Premises RAG Search and Multi-Turn Conversations
QNAP also announced that the new Qsirch 6.0 will bring major AI upgrades:
- On-premises LLM (Large Language Model) integration (such as DeepSeek, Gemma, etc.) combined with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) search
- RAG multi-turn conversation feature
- No license restrictions—upgrade to the new version to use all Premium features for free
The new Qsirch 6.0 not only supports cloud-based LLMs, but can also deploy on-premises LLMs on high-end QNAP NAS equipped with specific GPUs, providing stronger privacy protection and semantic search efficiency to help enterprises build efficient and secure AI knowledge management platforms.
Qsirch 5.3.3 to Open All Premium Features for Free Use
For users who have not yet upgraded to QTS 5.x or the new version of Qsirch, QNAP will release Qsirch 5.3.3 at the end of August 2025, directly lifting license restrictions so users can enjoy all Premium features for free without multiple system upgrades.
