Thank you! I was able to get it installed. Also was able to update the firmware.
Looking at the 2 discs only one had data in it. The other was empty. Is that the way is should be on the QNAP Model TS-231P?
You are in control of how you want to setup your disks, if that’s what the disks are setup as (single disks) then that’s how you set them up
To help us understand your setup better, could you please tell us about your two hard drives?
Did you get them new, or were they previously used in another device?
Also, what are you hoping to achieve with them? Are you planning to configure them in a RAID setup?
