Accessing Qnap remotely

I want to log in to my QNAP at home via VPN from outside and operate files.
I’ve researched various things online, but none of them work well, and I’m having trouble.
I’m starting to wonder if it’s really possible.
If possible, I would appreciate it if you could explain the method in an easy-to-understand way.

It varies depending on which connection method you use.

For QNAP NAS, I have checked connections using OpenVPN with reference to the following site.

With any method, both the server and client require appropriate configuration. Therefore, how about using the following site to check up to the client configuration?

Depending on your purpose, it might be easiest to simply install Qsync on the PC you use outside your home.

For the setup process of Qsync, I think the content of this blog explains it clearly:

If you don’t have any specific requests such as wanting to connect via VPN and access the NAS settings screen, I think using Qsync is the simplest way to manage files stored on your NAS while you are out.

If your PC is a Windows machine, you may have used OneDrive before; with Qsync, you can access files stored on your NAS with a similar user experience to OneDrive.

I hope this helps.
