I found that QSIRCH has index size by default just 100K text words, what is for me huge obstacle. Is there any way how to change it - increase it? Thank you.
I am not sure too, its very confusing and useless for me, because after several thousand’s lines of txt it cannot do full text search what is useless and unreliable. Any advice QNAP team @qnap?
Could you please let us know the typical file formats and file sizes you usually need to retrieve? If possible, we would appreciate it if you could provide this information as a reference for our future optimization efforts. Thank you for your assistance!
Yes of course, its mainly txt or json - plain text file format, most of them (80%) have under 1MB file size, and some of them could have one or more GB. Because of these, for me any limit is not suitable, beucase I cannot ommit “random” parts of the file in the search (I am aware that it may have performance issues).
Do you think it would be possible to configure somehow in QSIRCH? @SteveKo
