We are trying this new switch on our main HQ. It works very well but lack a good manual and security function.
I just see the last update add 802.1x and ssh console. But it seems a web interface bug.
We cannot activate 802.1x when there is a LAG configured.
→ When we enable 802.1x , there is this warning about LAG ports.
→ when we push “OK”, we cannot save the config.
After internal verification, we were able to successfully reproduce this issue. Thanks for the report — we’ll fix it in a future release!
Could you try not adding the ports to the LAG first? Please enable and complete the 802.1X configuration first, and then add the ports to the LAG afterwards.
When assigning a LAG to a VLAN, QNAP recommends removing individual LAG port members from the VLAN, and then adding the entire group to the VLAN as required. If individual port members are not removed, the VLAN is reset to its default settings.
