I have been experimenting with Qsync - with some success.
However a show-stopper for me is what appears to be a hard limit of 5200 files in a single folder.
I have one subfolder in the sync group on the NAS with 11 thousand files - and slowly growing. These are small files created by Garmin Basecamp, one file per GPS track. It is not possible to put them in subfolders.
Qsync syncs exactly 5200 of these files!
Is that a predefined limit?
A second question if anyone reads this far, can .lnk files be made to sync? By default they are not synchronising.
You don’t say which version of Qsync Client you’re using. I’ve posted the bug in another thread about version 6 not syncing windows “filename.lnk” files, despite the filter being cleared. The file limit may be another bug in v6.
The last windows version 5.1.10.0918 DOES sync “filename.lnk” files, maybe the file limit isn’t there either…
Thank you for your feedback! Regarding the issue where .lnk files cannot be synchronized, we plan to optimize this in the official release of Qsync 6.0. As for the file count limitation you mentioned, we will have our internal team analyze and evaluate the situation further.
