QuObjects S3 and Duplicati - Local network?

I am attempting to backup an Ubuntu workstation from Duplicati to a local NAS running QuObjects.

I am able to get this working without SSL but not with SSL (HTTPS). Any thoughts? Maybe something to do with the server and workstation being on the same local, internal network? I am using the default QNAP Server Certificate but don’t have a Custom Root Certificate

If both devices are on your LAN, why do you need HTTPS? :wink:

It’s not like someone is going to eavesdrop or MITM your connection.

As @OneCD said, there’s likely little need to have SSL on your LAN. For SSL to work correctly, things have to match the certificate with domain names, etc. Certificates are a headache. Unless you are in some corporate environment that needs security on your LAN, then just skip SSL.
