Hey all,
I am wondering if anyone else has seen this in QuTS Hero 6.1 (and maybe QTS 6.1). I don’t know if this happens in 6.0.x as well since I am not running that.
If I try to generate a sharing link on a file, most of the times I will get an error that I don’t have permissions on that volume to do that. But of course I do - I am an administrator. Just last night I had this happen again. I ended up going and modifying my permissions to make sure I was definitively selected as having full access. I used the “Windows” permissions on the folder and set myself to full access (even though it was “default” selected previously). Then I saved it and pushed the permissions down to sub-folders. Then the share link creation worked.
I have since upgraded to ACL 2.0 hoping that this will fix my issue.
Has anyone else seen this? It’s certainly a problem when you are the administrator and you have to jump through hoops to share files in folders that you created.
