Security Updates
- Applied multiple security updates to further enhance system security.
New Feature
Control Panel
- Added support for the AI accelerators QAI-M100 and QAI-U100. For details on compatible NAS models, see Compatibility List - QNAP
Enhancement
App Center
- Enhanced the App Center user interface by adding a new “Pending Actions” section to help users identify apps that require additional setup before use.
Network & Virtual Switch
- Optimized the user interface for configuring interfaces, virtual switches, VLAN, WiFi, and IPv4 and IPv6 settings. The IPv4 and IPv6 configuration pages now include DNS settings.
- When configuring the IPv6 connection type with “Auto-Configuration (Stateless)”, users can now select “Generate a SLAAC address with a secret key” for a more secure way to generate the IPv6 address.
Fixed Issues
- Fixed an issue where a Snapshot Replica job would fail after the user expanded the capacity of the source storage space.
- Resolved an issue where some users could not join a NAS to an AD domain under certain circumstances.
- Fixed an issue where changes made to the “php.ini” file were not applied after restarting the NAS web server.
- Fixed an issue where testing the NTP server connection would sometimes fail even though the connection was healthy.
- Resolved an issue where users accessing their NAS via SMB might fail to access searched files if Qsirch was installed on the NAS.
- Updated the “Backup/Restore” page in Help Center. Corrected the default password information in the “Restore to Factory Default” section.
- Addressed an issue where the NAS might suddenly restart on its own under certain circumstances.
- Fixed an issue where after creating a SnapSync job with the same source and destination as a previously deleted SnapSync job, the new job would inherit the schedules of the old job.
- Fixed an issue where, under certain circumstances, users could not successfully install Hyper Data Protector after joining the NAS to an LDAP domain.
- Resolved an issue where users could not successfully create a SnapSync job if the source folder name contained certain characters.
- Enhanced write performance stability, ensuring reliable operation and speed in write-intensive environments.
- Corrected a typo in an SNMP response.
- Improved the security of WORM shared folders.
- Fixed an issue where users could not see the link bar on the login screen even after enabling “Show the link bar” in “Control Panel > System > General Settings > Login Screen”.
- Fixed an issue to ensure the system can reliably store up to 10 backup system configuration files.
- Corrected an error message. Previously, when restoring a shared folder from a snapshot failed due to insufficient space, the message incorrectly displayed “Unknown error”.
- Resolved a rare issue where an ESXi host could not connect to the NAS via Fibre Channel.
- Resolved an issue where Control Panel could not display system information when Resource Monitor was open.
