Applied multiple security updates to further enhance system security.

New Features
Control Panel
When performing a firmware update, you can now choose to automatically install required app updates, ensuring a smooth app experience after the firmware update is complete.

Enhancement
Control Panel
Added a setting in “Control Panel > System > Hardware > General” that allows users to enable or disable the IR sensor on supported NAS models.

Domain Security
Simplified the setup process for Azure Single Sign-on (SSO) and updated the feature name to “Microsoft Entra ID Single Sign-on (SSO)”.

NFS Service
Adjusted the default settings for NFS host access to enhance the security of NFS exports.

Fixed Issues
Fixed an issue where, under certain conditions, domain users could not copy certain files despite having the correct permissions.
Resolved an issue where, if domain users had been assigned delegated roles, “Control Panel > Privilege > User Groups” would display an empty list unless users manually refreshed it.

This release is listed for download for the TS-262. Can this be installed on the TS-262 and if required be rolled back to QTS?

Thank you for the reply. I understand that switching between OS requires new start or re-initialization of the NAS. I am trying to know if this is OS officially supported or is listed by mistake. The 4 Bay TS-264 is listed as supported in the release notes. But the 2 Bay TS-262 is not listed in the release notes.

Maybe QNAP decided it’s good-enough to run QuTS? :wink:

Apologies, we’ve confirmed this was a model error. The TS-262 was incorrectly listed for the Hero version due to similar models supporting it, but we have now removed that download.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.
