For anyone using QuTSCloud.. You need to be aware that is it no longer available:

“This product is approaching the end of its product life cycle and is no longer available for new purchase or subscription. Your existing licence remains valid for its current term and you will not be charged again. A formal notice will be published on QNAP’s Product Support Status page.”

SO your current installs will be basically bricked when the current licence expires.!

Interesting that it is still showing up as a valid product on QNAP’s website but yeah, you can’t buy a new license for it.

That said, I didn’t understand why QNAP released this product anyhow. QNAP is a hardware company that sells NAS products. QuTSCloud was a software based product that would run on 3rd party platforms. Seems like it was potentially cannibalizing their hardware sales.
