QVP 2.6.1 Released

The latest QVP surveillance appliance firmware 2.6.1 is now available!

This update upgrades the QVR Server to version 2.6.1 and introduces the following new features:

  • Automatic Camera Settings Synchronization: QVR Server now automatically synchronizes with cameras and retrieves their settings, preventing risks associated with manually modifying camera stream profiles.
  • Support for Proxy Server and QNAP Browser Station: Users can now access camera web interfaces via Proxy Server or QNAP Browser Station, even when the computer and camera are not on the same network.
  • New Automatic Mode for Motion Detection: A brand-new automatic mode for motion detection dynamically adjusts sensitivity, making it particularly effective in complex environments where motion detection is challenging.
  • Edge Recording and Recovery Support for Hikvision & Dahua Cameras: In the event of network interruptions or hardware failures, QVR Server now supports edge recording and recovery for Hikvision and Dahua cameras, ensuring uninterrupted recording.

Additionally, this firmware update resolves an issue where License Center malfunctions could cause licensing failures. We strongly recommend updating to QVP 2.6.1 to prevent recording interruptions due to licensing issues.
