QVP 2.6.1 released

The new firmware 2.6.1 for QVP monitoring devices has been officially released!

This update upgrades the QVR server to 2.6.1 and brings the following new features:

  • Automatic Camera Settings Synchronization: The QVR server now automatically synchronizes with cameras and retrieves their settings, preventing risks caused by directly modifying the camera’s stream profile.
  • Support for Proxy Server and QNAP Browser Station: Even if your computer and cameras are not on the same network, you can access the camera web interface via Proxy Server or QNAP Browser Station.
  • Brand-new Motion Detection Auto Mode: A new auto mode for motion detection dynamically adjusts detection sensitivity, especially suitable for highly complex scenarios, improving detection accuracy.
  • Edge Recording and Recovery Support for Hikvision & Dahua Cameras: Even if the network is interrupted or hardware fails, the QVR server can utilize the edge recording feature of Hikvision and Dahua cameras to ensure uninterrupted recording.

Additionally, this firmware update fixes an issue where License Center abnormalities could prevent proper license usage. We recommend updating to QVP 2.6.1 to avoid recording functionality being affected by license issues.
