So far, QVR Client has supported Windows and macOS desktop versions, as well as iOS and Android mobile versions. In computer environments without software installation permissions, or on Linux and ChromeOS systems, users face restrictions in accessing video. The development team has an initial plan for a web version.
Status of QVR Client Web Version
Users can log in by entering a URL in their browser and view camera footage. There is no need for software installation procedures. The currently available features are as follows:
- Live video viewing
- Playback of recordings
- Switching and management of views, cameras, and e-maps
- Timeline operation
The interface layout is similar to the desktop version of QVR Pro Client, reducing the learning cost for users.
Request for Feedback
The web version is in the development stage. Community feedback will determine the priorities for future development. Please share your opinions.
- Among the features of QVR Pro Client, which ones are essential for the web version?
- What are the expected usage scenarios for the web version?
- What are your performance requirements? How many channels do you typically open at the same time? Do you need 4K resolution, or is smoothness more important?
- Any other suggestions regarding the development of QVR Client.
