We’re excited to announce that QVR Human 2.4.0 is now officially available!
This update fully supports QTS 5.2.x, QuTS hero h5.2.x / h6.0.x, and QVP 2.x operating systems.
Version 2.4.0 introduces a brand-new detection type and multiple UI/UX enhancements, bringing AI video analytics to broader and more efficient use cases.
Optimized for Top-View Cameras: Beta “Top Head Detection” Now Available
In retail, transportation hubs, and public spaces, dome cameras and other top-down angles are widely used to reduce occlusion and improve counting accuracy.
To support these scenarios, we’ve introduced the Beta Top Head Detection type for Line-crossing Counting and Area Density tasks.
- Key benefits: By tracking the head position directly, this model delivers more precise and reliable people-counting performance even in crowded or complex environments from a top-down perspective.
- Flexible application: You can select the detection type that best fits your camera angle and environment to maximize counting accuracy.
More Intuitive UI: Information at a Glance
We refined several interface elements to ensure smoother workflows and clearer data presentation.
- Instant access to key metrics: Line-crossing details and minimum detectable size—previously hidden behind tabs—are now visible directly on the live stream, with customizable display options.
- More efficient heatmap analysis: No more small, fixed comparison windows. You can now freely resize heatmap comparison views for easier visual analysis across time periods and zones.
- Clearer resource overview: The license information layout has been improved, allowing you to instantly see the number of free and licensed AI tasks and allocate resources more effectively.
