QVR Pro and foscam x5 - cannot add camera

Hey all - using QVR Pro 2.7.2.1336 on a TS873A.
Have 4 cameras, recently one died and i got a Foscam X5 as a replacement.

Its on the supported camera list… and im entering all the details correctly. I can access the camera using the same details using the foscam VMS software… but i keep getting the “unable to connect” error message.

Anyone else have one of these and got it working ?

Hi @HJ997 could you try entering the HTTP or HTTPS port number of the Foscam X5 into the RTSP Port field on the QVR interface and try again?

The latest firmware for Foscam cameras seems to include some changes and we are reviewing how to update the QVR display and related instructions accordingly.

Hi - yep, i have tried what i believe is every combination of ports in the QNAP QVR Pro UI - but no go.

Hi @HJ997 we have received from Foscam that they have change the default port on new models, please try 88 or 888 into the RTSP Port field.

So support remotely logged in and got it working with ports
888 and 88

Im sure i tried that… but… i must not have… so my stuff up.
