Hi @renevk no, the QVR Surveillance is compatible with all existing QVR Pro and QVR Elite licenses, so you can continue using your current licenses without any additional fees.
QVR Surveillance uses a different file storage method than QVR Pro, so there’s no direct upgrade path. A couple of options depending on your recordings:
If you don’t need to keep your current recordings, you can just reinstall and switch over to QVR Surveillance. It’s pretty lightweight on system resources, so it should actually run nicer on the TS-453D than QVR Pro does.
If you want to keep your old video files, please wait for the QVR Pro 2.8.0 update which we plan to release it in Q3. That version has a built-in migration tool to move your data over to QVR Surveillance.
