Reimport Container Station Data

Hey all,

Since I just recently wiped my NAS and reinstalled with QuTS Hero, I would like to get my Containers up and running again. I backedup my Container folder with Hybrid Backup Sync. Now, I’ve restored everything to the “Container” folder. But Container Station doesn’t recognize my containers.

How can I import those?

Thanks.

Jon

Do you get any specific error messages ?

Shares are mounted differently in QuTS compared to QTS, so if any backups reference the old QTS system, they would fail.

No. No error messages. I have the original “Container” folder that Container Station creates when you first start it up. So here’s what I did.

1.) Created a Shared Folder in Storage Pool 2 (My RAID5) named “Container”
2.) When I started Container Station it says it will create a shared folder named “Container” but then it also gives you a drop-down to select another location. When I clicked the drop-down, my new “Container” folder I had created was checked.
3.) I finished the initialization of Container Station.
4.) I quit Container Station.
5.) I then did a copy/replace of the new Container folder with the one I recoverd from backup.
6.) Opened Container Station again - nothing. Doesn’t see any of my Containers.
7.) Quit Container Station and Stopped it in App Center
8.) Restarted Container Station and opened it.

Still nothing…

All my old data is there but it’s not being read…
