Remote Mount in File Station from HS-210 still uses SMBv1 and fails

HS-210 has been configured to use SMBv2 or v3 via the CLI and verified. However, when trying to remote mount an SMB share on another QNAP or a Windows system, it still attempts to use SMBv1 and fails, since it’s not supported on the target systems. Any ideas how to correct this?

Hope this provides further assistance!

I guess you mean

I encountered the problem mounting a remote folder via SMB between two QNAS devices.

Both QNAS devices were running QTS 4.3.

I verified via SSH that both NAS devices were using the maximum SMB3 version.

I tried manually switching them both to SMB3 and then to SMB2.

It didn’t work.

QNAP mentions the problem. File Station can only mount folders using SMB1. But QTS does support SMB1, SMB2, and SMB3.

The problem lies with File Station. Perhaps it’s possible to install a newer version of File Station using a .qpkg file?

However, it works via FTP.
