REQUEST: DOM Recovery Image for TS-453A (.img file)

Hi everyone,

I am trying to perform a firmware recovery on my TS-453A (Intel x86) via Clonezilla, but I am missing the factory DOM image file (.img). The physical DOM is fine, it just had a different OS installed on it previously.

Does anyone happen to have a backup of the original DOM Recovery Image specifically for the TS-453A? I would highly appreciate a PM or a cloud link!

As mentioned by @dolbyman, the following image is the DOM base recovery image referenced in that guide:

You may review it together with the recovery guide above, and then follow the documented procedure to restore the DOM to the latest available version afterward.

Hi @Lucas , im having similar issue with same TS-453A, but have done the steps with exact this recovery image, but when it finished and restart the system, Qfinder could find the NAS, but it is saying “server not started yet” , and option to update firmware is disabled.

Is there any problem with this image?

It’s normal when you start the NAS without HDDs.

So Qfinder finds the NAS, right? what is the firmware version displayed?
