Restore qdff file with Windows PC Win11

Hi,

I’m trying to recover data from a QNAP TS-251+ that suffered a hard drive failure (2 drives at the same time).

It had a USB Intenso HDD connected. I’ve now attached it to my QNAP TVS-671.

The device is recognized there as well.

When I try to access it with the QNAP File Explorer and attempt to restore the metadata, I get an error.

I also tried using the QuDedupextract tool. That doesn’t work either. Unknown QDFF format.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Then it would be best to take the two defective drives to a data recovery specialist.

They should be able to recover something from them.

The NAS was defective.

Put the HDDs into a new NAS. Everything is fine again.

The strange error pattern had led everything in the wrong direction.

Strange that your backups didn’t work either with the QUDedupe tool.

You should follow up on that.
