Roon Server app unable to display screen properly

Since the QNAP QTS system recommended not using the account named “admin” to log in, after logging in with another account name that has admin privileges, the Roon Server application screen displays “Not logged in!” I previously asked about this issue in the official English discussion forum, but have not received a solution!

Sorry, I don’t have the Chinese input on my computer and can only write in English.

I also use Roon Server but have no such problem. Did you use the admin account to log in when you installed the Roon Server App? I never use the admin account to operate my NAS but created a user account with admin right assigned.

Hi @gomask, I tested with the NAS I have on hand. The admin account on this device is disabled, and installing Roon Server from the App Center appears to work normally.

You may need to go to the QNAP Customer Service website to request technical support, so that our staff can use Helpdesk to assist remotely and confirm the cause.

After updating the NAS to the latest firmware, a first-time installation always displays normally if you haven’t installed it before. Later, try restarting to see if everything works properly. Try enabling the admin account and logging in, then switch to another account with admin privileges and log in. That’s when you’ll encounter the issue I experienced.

I’m not the only one experiencing this issue, Roon on QNAP: “Not Logged In!” Message - Support - Roon Labs Community
Currently, the only way is to enable the built-in admin account to log in in order to properly view the Roon page.
Other custom accounts, even with admin privileges, still cannot see the Roon page.

In 2023, Roon’s technical support staff had already confirmed this issue and even promised to develop a fix update. To this day, there is still no Roon update, and the interface remains abnormal. Should QNAP communicate with Roon for technical discussions to jointly identify the problem?
