RSYC with Truenas Scale as Client

ts-231P running QTS 5.2.9.3499 - trying to set up SSH based RSYC so to use the QNAP as a backup target. Did all the configuration and can now kick off a RSYNC task from the Truenas client but it fails with a STREAMIO error 12 - basically what seems to happen is that it connects to the QNAP and almost immedeatly disconnects. Trying to debug what is going on here but cannot find any logs that give me any insight in what is actually happening. Can someone help me out here?? Or is there a known issue with such an old QNAP NAS or the software version being used??

BTW - using HBS 26.4.2.617

My guess is that this may be an SSH permission issue or a connection failure, though the information available is a bit limited. Is there any other message that appears before the “STREAMIO error 12”? If you could provide it, that might give us a clearer picture.
